The Walt Disney Company will host its annual Comic-Con panel on Monday night, where it’s expected to unveil the next chapter in its blockbuster animated film series “Dumbo.”
“Dumbo” stars Will Arnett as Dumbo, the titular bird who was once a toy toy but became a full-fledged animated character in the 1940s and ’50s.
In the early ’90s, he was considered too much of a baby for the big screen, but he made a comeback in 1999 with “Big Bird,” a feature-length feature that earned him an Oscar nomination for best animated feature.
“Dumb and Dumber To” co-star John Goodman also appears on Monday’s panel.
The series was originally released in theaters in 1987 and is now available on Netflix.
Dumbo debuted in theaters on Oct. 1, 2019.
