The Digital Internet Infrastructure for India (DIEI) is a project that will give access to the internet to all homes in India through a digital portal.
This portal will be launched by April 2018.
The DIEI will also enable households to register mobile phones and to make online calls, and will also provide services such as bank accounts and mobile banking services.
